These pictures were sent to me by Corine who bought a plate of lady Jeanne at EchtWaarBazaar in Utrecht last December. I like the contrast between painting and porcelain: small versus big, abstract versus figurative, elegance versus roughness, thick versus thin, white versus colorful..

MATCHING PLATES

A few weeks ago I found these great vintage cake plates. They match the aerodynamic teapot which is already available in the shop. Today I decorated them and I love the way they turned out! I'll be selling them at next month's Echt Waar Bazaar on December 1st and 2nd in Utrecht.

ECHT WAAR BAZAAR

This afternoon we went to Utrecht. The dark and rainy weather contrasted with the piled up warm colored leaves on the age-old pedestrians along the canals. We went to check out Echt Waar Bazaar, a creative market which is held every first weekend of the month at the beautifully located In De Ruimte. The bazar features a mix of design,craft, recycling, vintage, food, fairtrade, sustainability and more.I'm looking forward to participating next month!
